Congratulations to Al Ocampo and his team, the Community Service Committee for a wonderful job in bringing the Christmas spirits and cheers to the veterans, senior citizens and residents of Filipino American Service Group, Inc. (FASGI), a nonprofit organization is a non-profit social service agency that provides 6 month transitional housing, case management, health/mental health outreach, information and referral, food distribution, socialization and recreation, and educational classes to mentally-ill, low-income and/or homeless seniors! FASGI expressed their gratitude to ISYFA and we quote:
“On behalf of FASGI Board, Staff, Residents and Community clients, we would like to thank ISYFA for bringing the Spirit of Christmas to FASGI. You really made our residents and clients very happy. We hope and pray that this is just the beginning. We pray that the Lord will continue to bless ISYFA and all the members for all your endeavors.”
We also like to thank the generosity of Dr. Rodolfo Protascio and his wife Rose for sharing their lovely home to our ISYFA carolers as well their generous donation to ISYFA.

The holiday season is around the corner! This is the time of the year when we bring warmth to the hearts of our children as we watch them joyfully opening brightly wrapped gifts tied up with shiny ribbons. But for many children especially those that are in the Philippines, the holidays bring no warmth, no gifts, and no joy. Many come from impoverished homes where families can barely afford to put food on the table.

ISYFA is collecting gifts for children between the ages of two to eleven for the benefit of the less privileged children in the Philippines. Your donation will truly bring a warmth smile to every child, which in one way or another will make this upcoming Christmas a memorable one for them.
